Missing In Action

Why hello again, it's been a while...again!

Sorry about that, but let's get right back into the swing of things and bypass the excuses...

As I explained last time, it was my honorary niece's 1st Birthday recently and as promised here is the card I made for her using the Me to You Spring Chic collection.

I also promised a wedding card, and I am delivering on that promise not one, but two wedding cards :-) Both use the Lili of the Valley Wedding Couple stamp (Mini Masterpiece die cuts to be more precise on this occasion) and various papers which I would love to be able to tell you where they were from but unfortunately have no idea - if anyone knows (particularly the monochrome paper) please do let me know!

It would appear that in the last month or so I have made the grand total of 3 new cards - the above wedding card (green papers) and the following...although the next one can't really be classed as making a whole new card, you might recognise the design from a couple of blog posts back, but to finish it off for a more specific use I have added an embossed Thanks greeting and a "Ritz" candi (Craftwork Cards)

Last up is my Sister's birthday card, as a lover of tea and cake this seemed a good fit.  The backing paper is from a collection called "The London Line" and the cupcake was created using a template I once got free with a crafty magazine.  The greeting is stamped in Cherry Cobbler (Stampin' Up) using the Happy Circles Stamp from Lili of the Valley

Well, that is all I have to share at the moment.  Although after a visit to the Lili of the Valley shop in Leeds at the weekend, I have spent up and purchased a few goodies that I am so excited to get to play with so hopefully this will be the kick start back into crafting I have been looking for.  I also have 2 more weeks of training and then on Sunday 22nd June I will be taking part in Race for Life raising money for Cancer Research UK.  I hope the fitness attempt will continue after the event but I also need to up my card stock so maybe I can take some time off to craft too!

Thanks for visiting, hope to be back soon :-)
