I'm back online!!! Hello :)
Thanks to my other half and his technical genius my laptop is back up and running - YAY! (well it has been for a while but I've been putting off sorting through all the recovered files!) There are still a number of files for me to sort though but I am slowly finding a number of cards that I made towards the end of 2015 that I never got round to sharing. So, since the weather can't make it's mind up over which season it is trying to be, I am taking the opportunity to sit in my lovely new Sherlock chair and update my blog.
First up are two cards I made for the Stampin' Up! "You Can Create It" monthly challenge run by Monica and Teri here in the UK. I never managed to send my entries into them :( Each month they sent a little Mystery Kit containing a few Stampin' Up! supplies. The Challenge was to use those supplies to create a project. At least a part of everything provided in the kit had to be used.
The sentiment added for the above card reads "If friends were flowers then I'd pick you" from a Craftwork Cards messages pack. I realised as I was arranging the elements onto the card that they created an F for Friend :)
The "nutty" squirrel in the above is one of the fairly recent Lili of the Valley launches and can be found in the Little Critters Woodland Friends Mini Stamp set. I loved how the image fitted in with the acorn in the kit, and the sentiment "nuts about you" meant it worked well as a valentines day card for the man in my life - which is where this card ultimately ended up ;)
Moving on...literally! One of my friends managed to get her foot on the property ladder last year, and whilst re-arranging our spare room into our dressing room/my craft room I came across a pack of house shaped cards that I had never used. I found out my mini masterpiece "moving day" images (LOTV) and using one of the old LOTV paper packs, created this lovely New Home card for her.
Finally (for today) are four of the birthday cards I've made for some of my family and friends, the lucky few I can find the pictures of at least!
These cards use images, papers, and sentiments from LOTV, Craftwork Cards, and Minnie Mouse which I actually picked up from The Range!
If, and as, I find more of my cards hidden on my drive I will be sure to update. There are many of my cards still available to purchase from Chatsworth Beauty Therapies, Chesterfield with a percentage of proceeds being donated to Ashgate Hospice at the end of the year.
Thanks for reading, enjoy the rest of your bank holiday weekend!
